Binding Detail: Contemporary dark leather spine over green cloth boards. Gilt title and tooling with carbon tooling to spine. Green decorative pastedowns.
Condition: Scuffing and mild age wear to spine ends. Soiling to boards. Liquid stain to bottom corner of title page and running through a few pages, unaffecting text.
Notes:

1154 pgs (including half-title and title, 2 illustrated plates, index) Includes both illustrated plates.

Two works by Dr. Corbetta bound in one. G. C. gilted on bottom of spine ( the author's own copy?). Binder's label on first pastedown "C. Spinosa Legatoria".

Both copies extremely rare with only three copies (1 Italy, 2 in USA) of Corbetta 1872, and no copy at all of Corbetta 1874 on OCLC.
